In the heart of Arundel
Squibbly Biskit is a traditional chidren’s shop located in the heart of Arundel. Nestled between a New York style ice cream parlour, an artisan florist and a traditional glass engraver, the shop finds itself right in the centre of a charming little square. Featuring a double height ceiling with lofty beams dating back to the 15th Century, the shop provides a welcome source of children’s clothes and toys for children from birth to 10 years old. The newborn corner now offers a range of new baby clothes and accessories, and includes a selection of wooden toys certified safe from 12 months.
Squibbly Biskit invites you to find new and different ideas from its range of familiar clothes labels such as Joules and Hatley, as well as the more unusual. Its selection of toys is mostly wooden from Le Toy Van, Bigjigs and Indigo Jamm and you will be forgiven for feeling a little nostalgic when you spot the wooden train set, doll’s houses and castles. It’s true to say that there is something for all budgets, and refreshing to find something different all in one place.
The shop is pushchair and toddler friendly and young children quickly feel at home as they settle to practice their artistic skills at the colouring table, whilst parents and grand-parents browse around the shop. Open 7 days a week form 10am with shorter days on Sundays and Bank Holidays. We are closed Mondays from January to Easter Holidays.
To find us – coming up from the Post Office end of the High Street turn into Tarrant Street on the left and immediately spot us in the corner of Tarrant Square to your right. Pop in and take in a little history about the building whilst you are there.
